Cromarty Firth CC hosted the David Bruce Memorial 50tt / SC North Championship on Sunday 19th June. Conditions looked good as the thirteen riders took to the course which runs on the A9 between the Dornoch bridge and the Cromarty bridge.
The fastest rider on the day was Tom Broadbent (Elgin CC ) finishing in a time of 1:53:30 with Chris Goddard ( MFCC ) in 2nd in 2:01:26 and Terry Christie ( Elgin CC ) in 3rd in 2:02:20. Mary Eagleson ( RRCC ) was the fastest Lady in a time of 2:32:47 and Alasdair Washington ( Caithness CC ) was the fastest Vet on Standard with a +28:59.
