Alan Cook decided to have a go at a different cycling discipline this weekend when he took part in the Dochcarty Hill Climb which was organised by Ben Wyvis CC. Alan was off near the back of the field and went ok up the first climb section but that was just a warm up for the really steep bit. After finishing and between gasping for air Alan said never again but once back at race HQ he was talking about different gearing so maybe a return to hill climbing next year for Alan.
