David,Alan and Ian were joined by Roger Sewell (RRCC) this Sunday for a wet and windy club run.Leaving Alness at 9:30 we headed out of town and on through Evanton and onto the back road to Dingwall.Heading along the back road to Dingwall in heavy rain Alan needed some convincing that cycling at this time of year was actually good for him.Once into Dingwall we turned right and headed along past fodderty dodging the many potholes that have appeared over the winter and the stones and grit laying in the road until we arrived in Strathpeffer.We had a stop in Strath for a coffee and to sit out another heavy rain shower then headed back to Dingwall and up onto the back road to Evanton and home to Alness.Total distance 29 miles.
