On Sunday 3^rd oct.Ian Henderson and David Stuart made the drive up to Brora to meet up with some of the Caithness CC for their annual run up through Strathbrora.Twelve riders left Brora in the rain at 9:30 and headed along the side of the river and on along the side of Loch Brora and eventually coming to Rogart.A quick stop in rogart to regroup and then we headed out along the A839 to Lairg and down to the Falls of Shin for a food stop.After some refreshment the weather improved and the sun even came out as the  riders headed on to Bonarbridge .The ride turned left at Bonar and up the hill past the golf course and round past Migdale and onto Spinningdale.The riders then carried on along the A949 past Skibo to the A9,then through Dornoch and on past Embo and round to the bottom of the Mound .Once on the A9 again David got the pleasure of towing everyone along to Golspie.Coming out of Golspie things got a bit faster with several riders going off on the hill past Dunrobin Castle leaving David and Keith Eagleson having to work together to chase hard all the way to Brora to finish the ride. Total distance 70miles.
