On Sunday 26/9/10 CFCC riders Ian Henderson and David Stuart headed out of Alness and through Evanton then onto the A9 and along to the Cromarty bridge.Once over the bridge they took a left turn and headed up the hill to the top of the Blackisle.From the top of the hill they followed the round down past Balblair and on through Jemimaville and along the shore into Cromarty.Once in Cromarty  they had intended to take the ferry across to Nigg but there was no ferry running so a coffee and cream scone in the Sutor Creel and it was back along the shore road and through Resolis.They carried on out of Resolis and up hill again to follow the road along through Culbo and on into Culbokie.A quick blast down out of Culbokie to the Cromarty bridge .Over the bridge and along the A9 to Evanton and home to Alness.Total Distance 48 miles.
